2 healthy dessert recipes for chocolate lovers

2 healthy dessert recipes for chocolate lovers

I love chocolate! In fact, I love everything that is sweet and that has sugar in it…But the truth is that I have struggled with my weight my whole life!

There are a lot of reasons why I’ve always been overweight that I am not gonna go into in this post, but I’m not going to pretend my sweet tooth has nothing to do with it.

I’ve been on so many different diets and some of them were successful, others weren’t. But even the ones that were successful (meaning that I did lose weight), weren’t successful for a long period of time (meaning that I gained all the weight back right after it).

All of these diets were extremely restrictive and they all meant I couldn’t eat chocolate or anything sweet, which made my grumpy and frustrated all the time.

I finally decided to stop dieting. All the testimonials from people who were successful in controlling their weight long term, say the same thing: diets don’t work, but a healthy life style does.

The truth is that maintaining a healthy life style and eat clean is not that easy when you are surrounded by processed foods full of sugar all the time. It is also not easy to just stop eating chocolate and sweets when you love them so much.

This healthy life style is a journey that I’ve just begun, so I’m not here to tell you how successful I’ve been or how much weigh I lost. I’m here to share two recipes with you that have been helping me satisfy my cravings for chocolate whilst staying healthy.

Hopefully in a few months I will be able to give you an update of how it has been going, but for now I just want to help all the chocolate lovers out there that are in a similar position to mine, by giving them two healthy alternatives.
